How it works
From the open web to your team's inbox
CompetitorCue watches the public pages of the competitors you track, detects what actually changed, and delivers source-backed alerts to the tools you already use — without enterprise setup or analyst hours.
What we watch
Only sources a buyer can already see. No scraped PDFs behind logins, no dark social — exactly the same evidence your prospects are reading.
Competitor websites
Public marketing sites, product pages, and feature announcements — anything a buyer would see. We re-fetch on a schedule and watch for real changes, not just CMS churn.
Pricing pages
Public pricing tables, plan tiers, and packaging changes. Each pricing URL you add is monitored independently so a single plan change becomes a single, attributable alert.
How a change becomes an alert
Three steps, deterministic and auditable. Each alert can be traced back to the exact source diff that triggered it.
Scrape
On a schedule matched to each source (hourly for volatile pricing, daily for product copy), our crawlers fetch the live page and normalise the markup.
Diff
Each fetch is diffed against the last baseline. Trivial changes — timestamps, cache busters, A/B variants — are filtered out so you only see what actually changed.
Alert
Meaningful diffs are scored, tagged (pricing / packaging / positioning / product), and routed to the destinations you have turned on.
Where alerts land
Three delivery channels, each independently configurable. Turn on what fits your team — leave the rest off.
In-app feed
Every change lives in your dashboard. Open one place to see the full history for each competitor — no dig through email threads.
Slack webhook
Critical changes post straight into a Slack channel of your choice. Wire it once in Settings → Slack and the feed lands where your team already works.
Weekly email digest
A Monday-morning summary of last week's moves, scored for strategic impact. Quiet by default, configurable in Settings → Alerts.
